Instructions for those using a hydraulic jewelry press:
The metal must be textured before placing it on the die. Place your material and tape so the die will hold the material, a rubber block on it. You may want to use two rubber blocks for your desired effect. Apply hydraulic pressure to the edge of the die until you can see the metal bulge through the die to the desired extent.
